Let’s quickly review how to measure your body for whatever you might need. These measurements will come in handy whenever you’re
shopping online.
Before you get started:
Make sure your measuring tape doesn’t stretch. Keep the tape level around your body, parallel to the floor. Keep it close to your skin, but don’t squish it down or pull it too tight. Measure both wrists, ankles, legs, etc. to ensure accurate measurements, sometimes they don’t match.
Neck (A):
Measure around the part of your neck where you want the collar to sit. If you want it tight at the center of your neck, measure it there. If it’s a looser style that you want to lay at your collar bone, or lower, measure where the collar will lay across the back of your neck and down to where it will hang.
Bust (B):
Measure around the body.
Measure directly the widest part of your breasts, across the line of your nipples.
Chest (C):
Under your breasts/pecs, as high up as possible (where the band of a bra would rest).
Waist (D):
Measure at it’s narrowest point, usually just above your belly button.
Hips (E):
Measure around the widest part of the hipbones/your booty.
Shoulder (Y):
Measure over the shoulders from under bust to the back (same height as front).
My gear is all made to adjust slightly, with the exception of the dainty locking buckles. When ordering your gear, give me your actual measurements,
and I will make your collar/gear to adjust 4-5cm above that.
The charts below show the correct placement of the measuring tape for each measurement. This is important!
Knowing where your natural waist is, or measuring at the largest part of your hips, or bust, will be essential when ordering custom made-to-measure
harnesses, garters, thigh cuffs, etc.
Thighs (1 & 2):
(2) Measure around the fullest part of the upper leg while standing, you need a friend to keep it accurate.
Knees (3 & 4): Measure just above & under the knee.
Calves (5): Measure around the fullest part of your calf.
Ankles (6): Measure around the base of your ankle, where you would like your cuffs to sit.

Wrist (F):
Measure the narrowest point of your wrist, where you would like your cuffs or bracelet to sit.
Collar to Waist (K):
Measure from where your collar bone is, to the narrowest part of your torso (just above the belly button).
Upper Arm (H):
Measure above your elbows, around the fullest part.
Step length (7): Measure from heel to crotch.
How to measure for kink gear?
Taking your measurments for collars and gear is no different from measuring for clothing.
But there are a few things to consider when ordering kink gear.
Most BDSM gear companies have standard sizes like small, medium, large, etc. I personally feel like
this is too ambiguous, and since my products are mostly made to order anyhow, I’d rather make them to fit your body.
